Examiner Refresher WEBINAR – Dates for 2025

According to Regulation (EU) No. 1178/2011 FCL.1015, in the last year of
the 3-year validity period of an examiner’s certificate, the completion of an
Examiner Refresher Seminar is required for the revalidation of the
examiner’s certificate.
The above mentioned Seminar (currently held as a Webinar), is a course for the
revalidation/renewal of existing examiner certificate. The initial acquisition of the
examiner certificate is excluded from this.
Agenda of the course according to AMC1 FCL.1015

 Part-FCL and related AMCs and GM
 Operational requirements and related AMCs and GM
 National requirements
 Fundamentals of human performance and limitations relevant to
flight examination
 Fundamentals of evaluation relevant to applicant‘s performance
 Management system of ATOs
 MCC, human performance and limitations
Additional practical training prior to the mandatory Examiners assessment of
competence (AMC1 FCL.1020) is recommended by the Authority but is not a
mandatory requirement for the revalidation/renewal of the examiner rating.
We hereby point out that in accordance with FCL.1005.TRE/SFE (a) (5)
resp. (b) (4) participation in a “SPECIFIC TRAINING” (additional 2 hours,
following the Webinar) is required, if:
Examiners who have already completed at least 3 years of TRE/SFE prior to
the deadline (11/11/2019) do not require the Specific Training.
All others must attend the Specific Training in order to be able to exercise
the privileges according to FCL.1005.TRE/SFE (a) (5) resp. (b) (4), provided
that they have already completed 3 years as a TRE/SFE.

Registration:

Please email your registration to examinercourses@austrocontrol.at stating
your name, AT-Examiner licence number, expiry date of the examiner privileges,
mobile phone number and billing address (incl. VAT no.). Also note if a
participation in the Specific Training is required.
We kindly ask you to indicate your billing address correctly, as already issued
invoices cannot be changed afterwards. Thank you for your understanding.
